Consumer protection observer Tulus Abadi noted 94 percent public satisfaction from a survey, with accidents reduced by up to 30 percent. "This year's Operasi Ketupat has issued instruments that greatly help ensure smooth and safe homecoming traffic," he said. He praised one-way traffic systems and recommended making them permanent with upgraded direction signs on toll roads.
STIK Lemdiklat Polri Professor Albertus Wahyurudhanto added that academic research using triangulation—surveys of 3,200 respondents from 8 Polda, operational post data, and Delphi method—showed good implementation. However, there were notes on over-focus on land routes while issues arose at ports and rest areas.
Albertus highlighted strengths in real-time monitoring and data-based predictive traffic policing. "This strategy builds public understanding that traffic engineering is a public need for safety," he stated.
