The bout stems from Davis brutalizing his former friend and tag partner Ospreay on behalf of The Don Callis Family. The live event airs coast-to-coast at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT, and 5 p.m. PT on TBS and HBO Max.
AEW revealed the matchup in a promotional post on Sunday evening, setting the stage for heightened tension on Dynamite. Ospreay, a high-flying star, will face Davis, known online as Dunkzilla Davis, after the latter turned on him in a shocking betrayal aligned with The Don Callis Family stable. AEW described the incident as Davis 'brutalizing his former friend and partner Will Ospreay.'
