Assetto Corsa Rally, a rally simulation game from Supernova Games Studios and publisher 505 Games, has launched Update 0.2 during its early access phase. This update introduces challenging snowy and iced surfaces, enhancing the game's physics-based driving experience. Players can now navigate a new map set in Livigno, located in the Italian Alps, alongside a newly added legendary rally car.

The game builds on the acclaimed physics engine from Assetto Corsa, refined for rally racing and powered by a customized Unreal Engine 5. Key features include 3D laser-scanned stages, authentic co-driver support, and realistic dynamics for front-wheel, rear-wheel, and all-wheel drive vehicles. Weather, road conditions, and car setups play crucial roles, demanding skill and precision from drivers.

Stages range from gravel in Wales to tarmac in Alsace, with elements like surface grip, time of day, and a physics-based damage system adding to the immersion. The update also brings bug fixes and improvements. Looking ahead, future content will include VR support, over 30 cars, additional stages in new locations, expanded modes, and a dedicated rally school.

Assetto Corsa Rally aims to capture the intensity of rally sports, where every decision impacts performance. It supports triple screens, racing wheels, and peripherals for an authentic feel.
