Canali unveils spring 2027 menswear collection in Milan

Canali presented its spring 2027 menswear collection at Scalo Romana in Milan amid a heatwave. The lineup drew on a spice route theme spanning four legs from Indonesia to Sicily, with an emphasis on versatile layering for changing climates.

Stefano Canali described the collection as built around traveler’s itineraries rather than delivery drops. Pieces progressed from warm cinnamon and sesame tones in the first leg to cooler linen and Japanese denim along the East African coast, then blue tones in Greece before reaching snow white and a new black palette at Alicudi off Sicily.

Layering formed the core code, with knitwear, blousons and jackets sequenced to handle heat by day and cold at night. The house showed 20 looks drawn from more than 70 available styles, avoiding image pieces in favor of wearable garments.

Canali noted the challenge for the 92-year-old house: “The hardest thing for a 92-year-old house is to reinvent itself within itself.” Black was introduced as an elegant option without trendiness, carried in linen-crêpe suits with micro-chalk stripes.
