Contraflow on Japek toll extended from KM 47 to KM 70

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol implemented contraflow on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek, initially from KM 55 to 70 starting at 20.43 WIB, now extended to KM 47 to 70 from 22.05 WIB due to rising vehicle volume during 2026 Lebaran homecoming. The measure follows police discretion to ease congestion.

Traffic engineering on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek was extended by PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) due to rising vehicle volumes during the 2026 Lebaran homecoming or Idulfitri 1447H/2026 period. Initially, contraflow applied from KM 55 to 70 starting at 20.43 WIB. Due to continued traffic increases, it was expanded to KM 47 to 70 from 22.05 WIB under police discretion, as announced by JTT on the evening of March 17, 2026 (local time +07:00). Density was observed amid public movements ahead of the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday. JTT advised road users to ensure vehicles are in prime condition, with sufficient e-money balance and fuel, and to bring provisions to avoid rest area crowds. Drivers should obey traffic signs and follow on-site officer instructions. PT JTT Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Entering the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday period, traffic volume is observed to increase, so we continue to urge Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety and prepare before entering the toll road journey. Ensure self and vehicle in prime condition, sufficient power, fuel, and e-money balance, and comply with signs and field officer directions.” Latest updates are available via the Travoy app or Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133, operating 24 hours.
