A surge in vehicles heading to the Puncak tourist area is evident during the peak 2026 Lebaran mudik period. Polres Bogor is implementing a situational one-way system to ease congestion, adjusting to on-site conditions without full application during Lebaran. This engineering relies on real-time monitoring from Pos Terpadu Gadog, the main control center for Operasi Ketupat Lodaya 2026. Joint teams from police, TNI, Dinas Perhubungan, and related agencies are reinforcing personnel at congestion hotspots and conducting intensive patrols for security. Kasat Lantas Polres Bogor Iptu Afif Widhi Ananto stated, “Rekayasa one way kami terapkan secara situasional, melihat volume kendaraan di lapangan. Tidak dilakukan secara penuh, tetapi menyesuaikan kebutuhan untuk mengurai kepadatan.” He added, “Pelibatan personel dari Polda Jabar hingga Baharkam Polri ini merupakan bentuk penguatan di lapangan agar penanganan kepadatan kendaraan bisa dilakukan lebih cepat dan optimal.” A humanis approach is prioritized, with services including alternative route info, emergency aid, and rest facilities.
