Damian Priest made his debut for AAA on the July 5 episode of WWE AAA on FOX. The former World Heavyweight Champion was introduced by AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio had teased the arrival of a former WWE World Champion in recent weeks while discussing plans to grow the AAA brand.
Priest addressed the crowd after the announcement. He said he has accomplished a lot during his career but has yet to do it in AAA and is looking to reach the mountain top there as well.
Priest, who is a current WWE Tag Team Champion, is set to face the War Raiders alongside R-Truth in a WWE and AAA Tag Team Championship title versus title match on SmackDown.
The appearance follows recent cross-promotional activity involving other main roster talent such as Bayley and Lola Vice.
