The Los Perros del Mal stable returned to AAA on June 20 during an episode of AAA on Fox in Mérida. The group ambushed El Grande Americano after his celebration and title challenge declaration. Members later shared comments on social media about the reformation.

The reformed faction includes WWE NXT stars Karmen Petrovic and Bronco Nima along with main roster stars Angel Garza and Berto and returning member Daga. They surrounded and attacked El Grande Americano at the end of the show before revealing shirts that read "Perros del Mal."

Daga had not appeared on AAA programming in three years after departing the promotion in December 2023. The original stable was led by Perro Aguayo Jr. until 2015.

Berto posted "Where are the dogs?" on Instagram while Angel wrote "I told you the wait was going to be f**king worth it." Petrovic stated on X that "it’s bigger than just wrestling gracias a Dios."

El Grande Americano had been celebrating his mask versus mask win and positioning himself as a future challenger to AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio.

Cosa dice la gente

Initial reactions on X show excitement and hype about the Los Perros del Mal reformation in AAA, with users surprised by the attack on El Grande Americano and praising members like Karmen Petrovic; some express support for the new group while others voice skepticism about historical revisions by fans.
