Israel's ambassador to Ethiopia has reaffirmed his country's commitment to strengthening bilateral investments and development cooperation.

The Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia has reaffirmed his country's commitment to bolstering investments and development support.

Speaking during a diplomatic field visit to special economic zones in Addis Ababa, Ambassador Abraham Nguse said bilateral relations rest on a solid foundation. Cooperation will be strengthened in agricultural technology, health, innovation, and human resource development.

He highlighted ongoing efforts in cybersecurity, information technology, and modern medical infrastructure. Israeli technology institutions have shown strong interest in supporting Ethiopia's digitalization journey. People-to-people relations and historical links serve as key pillars for deeper economic and diplomatic ties.

Ambassador Yohannes Fanta, Director General of Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, urged the diplomatic community to encourage companies from their countries to invest in Ethiopia's special economic zones. The government will continue providing necessary support and incentives to incoming investors.
