Jakarta to host FIA Rallycross World Cup 2026

Indonesia will host the FIA Rallycross World Cup 2026 for the first time at Sirkuit E-Prix Ancol in Jakarta on December 5-6, 2026. The event marks the FIA's expansion into Southeast Asia with a mixed asphalt and dirt track.

SARGA.co, the main promoter, will transform Sirkuit E-Prix Ancol into an international-standard rallycross track, featuring about 60 percent asphalt and 40 percent dirt. The wheel-to-wheel format promises aggressive action and intense overtaking.

FIA Rallycross Sporting Manager James Nixon praised Indonesia's potential. "Indonesia has strong involvement in international motorsport and great opportunities to grow," he said.

SARGA Group founder Aryo PS Djojohadikusumo called it a national pride. "Partnering with the FIA, Sarga is very excited to bring the inaugural FIA Rallycross World Cup to Jakarta, Indonesia," he stated, while encouraging Indonesian drivers to participate.

The event is supported by the Indonesian Motor Association and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Governor Pramono Anung welcomed it warmly, saying, "Jakarta feels honored to host the first-ever FIA Rallycross World Cup in the world and the first in Southeast Asia." He hopes it will bolster Jakarta's status as a global sportainment destination ahead of the city's 500th anniversary in 2027.
