Kravata has announced the integration of its Kravata Go feature into the Mi Claro app, allowing users to acquire digital dollars easily. This development addresses the rising interest in Colombia for options to protect capital in dollars. The company aims to democratize access to strong currencies without complications.
The Colombian fintech Kravata has launched an update integrating its Kravata Go service directly into the Mi Claro app, making it easier for users to buy digital dollars. This integration comes as interest in protecting savings in dollars has notably increased in the country, according to the company.
To access the feature, users must log into the Mi Claro app, select the 'personas' option, register, and choose their Claro service. Then, in the 'Zona Comercial' and 'Créditos y Finanzas' section, they will find Kravata Go, where they can register, verify their identity, and start acquiring digital dollars from small amounts.
Felipe Montes, CEO of Kravata, explained: “We want any person, regardless of their level of banking, to access the benefits of a strong currency like the dollar, without frictions, without lines, and without fear. And being in the Mi Claro app is a huge step toward that vision”.
For his part, Jaime Tole, Director of Innovation and Product at Claro Colombia, emphasized: “We continue to strengthen the ecosystem of our application with more mini-programs that make life easier for Colombians, accessing new services in a simple way and without complications”.
Montes added that the process is secure and regulated: “We believe that acquiring and moving digital dollars should be as easy as sending a message. Now we can offer from the Mi Claro App a secure, simple solution complying with all regulatory standards. Through our infrastructure, users can acquire digital dollars from small amounts, and convert them back to pesos in a simple and secure way, and soon make international payments and earn rewards, always with a 100% digital experience”.
This partnership aims to expand the reach of digital financial services in Colombia, making capital protection accessible to more people.
