Il Messico guida i flussi turistici verso gli Stati Uniti nel 2026

Il Messico rimane il principale mercato di provenienza per i turisti diretti negli Stati Uniti, secondo le proiezioni condivise durante una conferenza al IPW 2026 di Fort Lauderdale.

Durante la sessione di Brand USA al IPW 2026, l'organizzazione ha previsto che il Messico invierà 18,5 milioni di visitatori negli Stati Uniti quest'anno. Ciò rappresenta una crescita annua del 3% e consolida il suo primato sul Canada, detenuto dal 2025.

La vicinanza geografica, la connettività aerea e terrestre, e i legami commerciali alimentano questa tendenza. Brand USA ha sottolineato la spesa dei viaggiatori messicani in shopping, intrattenimento e alloggio.

Gli Stati Uniti prevedono complessivamente 70,6 milioni di visitatori internazionali nel 2026, con un aumento del 3% dopo un moderato rallentamento nel 2025. Rimangono comunque sfide legate alla percezione della sicurezza e ai costi di viaggio.
