Navy Blue releases Sir Render music video

Rapper Navy Blue has released a new music video for the title track of his album Sir Render. The visual depicts a preteen embarking on a quest in a cardboard suit of armor.

The video shows a young boy discovering box-made armor and exploring massive cardboard castles on a theater stage. A small audience watches unaware until Navy Blue opens a red curtain to reveal the scene.

Directed by Ahab Mullick, the clip illustrates themes of self-examination and transformation. Navy Blue raps, “This what livin’ life for, I call it what it is… To the next man who carry all his fears to the cliff, let it fly.”

Sir Render, released earlier in June, serves as a prequel to his prior albums Memoirs in Armour and The Sword & the Soaring. Guests include Earl Sweatshirt, Armand Hammer, Mike Shabb, and a posthumous verse from Ka.
