PS5 beta widget shows exact weekly player counts

Sony has rolled out a new beta feature on the PS5 home screen that displays the most-played games in a user's region along with their weekly player numbers.

The widget provides a list of the top eight games this week in the U.S. Fortnite leads with 14.6 million players. Grand Theft Auto 5 follows with 5.13 million, then Minecraft at 4.97 million and Call of Duty at 4.95 million. Other entries include Apex Legends with 1.72 million, Marvel Rivals with 1.58 million, Battlefield 6 with 1.51 million and ARC Raiders with 972,000 players.
