Binjai arrests in Dimaris Isni Sitio murder case: Two suspects named

In an update to the Dimaris Isni Sitio murder case in Pekanbaru, Binjai Police assisted Riau Police in arresting two suspects, Selamat (34) and Lisbet (22), on May 1, 2026. This follows earlier arrests, bringing the total to four suspects in the April 29 robbery and murder of the 60-year-old victim.

Binjai Police Criminal Investigation Chief AKP Hizkia Siagian stated the operation was based on community tips about the suspects' location. "The Cobra team from Binjai Police Criminal Investigation, with joint teams from Riau and Pekanbaru Police, investigated and apprehended them," Hizkia said.

The suspects, along with evidence, were processed at Binjai Police before being flown to Pekanbaru via Kualanamu Airport. This brings the total arrests to four, including the victim's daughter-in-law Anisa Florensa Tumanggor.
