Universal Genève relaunches with four collections led by Polerouter

Universal Genève has returned to the market with four new collections, including reimagined icons like the Polerouter and Compax, under CEO Georges Kern. The brand, known historically as 'Le Couturier de la Montre,' plans to open a flagship store on Geneva's Rue du Rhône. First deliveries are expected in autumn.

Universal Genève announced its revival on April 8, featuring the Prêt-à-Porter Collection with permanent icons, limited Capsule editions, bespoke Couture Creations, and archival Signature Timepieces. The Polerouter leads with models in steel and rose gold, sized 37mm and 39mm, powered by the new Microtor caliber UG-110. This 3.8mm-thick movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and 4Hz frequency. Capsule variants include Hardstone dials like lapis lazuli and tiger's eye, alongside Camaïeu color plays with diamonds on some bezels.
