Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison arrested for misdemeanor trespassing

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested early Monday in Tampa, Florida, on a misdemeanor trespassing charge. The 23-year-old was released later that day after posting bail. This incident follows previous legal troubles for the first-round draft pick.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison faced another legal issue when he was arrested early Monday morning in Tampa, Florida, and charged with probable cause misdemeanor trespassing, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest occurred at 3:46 a.m. ET by Seminole Indian Police at 5223 Orient Drive, the address of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. Addison was booked at 7:33 a.m. and released from custody at 2:40 p.m. after posting a $500 cash bond. The charge is for trespassing in an occupied structure or conveyance, classified as a Level 1 misdemeanor.

Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell addressed the arrest during media availability on Tuesday, emphasizing caution in commenting without full details. "I don't wanna speculate on that in any way, shape or form," O'Connell said. "I do think we've gotta get as many facts and find out exactly what happened. Speculating at this point would be incredibly premature for me."

This is not Addison's first brush with the law. In July 2024, he was arrested on suspicion of DUI after falling asleep at the wheel near Los Angeles International Airport. He pleaded guilty to a "wet reckless" offense and was charged with two misdemeanors, leading to a suspension by the NFL for the first three games of the 2025 season.

Additionally, in July 2023, just before training camp, Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving after Minnesota State Patrol stopped him for driving 140 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone.

A first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Addison had a down season in 2024, recording career lows of 42 catches for 610 yards and three touchdowns amid struggles in the Vikings' offense.
