香港のフラッグキャリアであるキャセイパシフィック航空は、地域の紛争を理由に運航を停止してから6か月を経て、9月1日よりドバイおよびリヤドへの旅客便を再開する。
同社は7月2日、アラブ首長国連邦のドバイへの毎日運航便と、サウジアラビアのリヤドへの週4便の運航を再開すると発表した。
貨物便については先行して開始され、8月1日からリヤドへの貨物定期便が予定されている。同社によると、これらの旅客便はすでに予約販売を開始しているという。
キャセイパシフィック航空は、今後も中東情勢を注視していくとしている。9月の香港発ドバイ行きの往復エコノミークラス航空券の運賃は、2,524香港ドルの燃油サーチャージ込みで最大8,853香港ドルとなっている。
