Cathay Pacific to resume Middle East passenger flights from September

Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific Airways will resume passenger flights to Dubai and Riyadh starting September 1, six months after suspending services due to regional conflict.

The airline announced on July 2 that it would restart daily flights to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and four-times-weekly services to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Cargo operations will begin earlier, with freighter flights to Riyadh scheduled from August 1. The airline stated that these passenger flights are already open for sale.

Cathay Pacific said it will continue monitoring the situation in the Middle East. A round-trip economy ticket from Hong Kong to Dubai in September costs up to HK$8,853, including HK$2,524 in carrier surcharges.
