The two-time Pro Bowl player has been absent since October 12, when he was placed on IR following a concussion from an off-field incident and a lingering knee injury. Diggs returned to practice on December 1 and has had a limited workload since, entering Week 16 with no injury designation.
The 27-year-old Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million extension in 2023 but has battled injuries, playing just 19 games with three interceptions in that span. Earlier in his career, he recorded 17 interceptions over his first three seasons, including 11 in 2021 that earned him All-Pro honors. This season, Diggs has appeared in six games without any interceptions or pass breakups.
The Cowboys (6-7-1) host the Chargers (10-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
