Die Toten Hosen announce final studio album

The band Die Toten Hosen will release its new album «Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!» at the end of May. It is set to be the group's final studio album after more than 40 years.

Frontman Campino discussed the decision in an interview with the Deutsche Presse-Agentur in Düsseldorf. The band had taken nine years after the previous album «Laune der Natur». Another long break would mean the musicians would be in their seventies.

Campino stressed that the band is not dissolving. A final concert has not yet been set. The group has an arrangement at the Düsseldorf South Cemetery if things come to an end.

The upcoming tour is already sold out. The album contains 15 songs. It was recorded with guests including Marteria and Koljah from the Antilopen Gang.
