A man in his 40s was seriously injured in Borlänge on Friday evening and a man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to an alert received by SOS at around 8 pm on Friday evening, the incident took place outdoors in the Jakobsgårdarna district. The injured man was taken by ambulance to hospital with serious stab wounds.
Police were able to quickly arrest a man in his 60s who is suspected of the crime. The investigation is proceeding as attempted murder or manslaughter.
Police are now carrying out various investigative measures following the arrest.
