Intentional physical assaults (dolosa bodily injury) totaled 19,249 occurrences, up 7.4%, and domestic violence rose 14.3%, both records for the period since 2018.

The SSP states that tackling violence against women is a government priority, with 144 Women's Defense Police Stations (DDMs), 173 DDM Rooms, and over 650 additional officers.
