元ドローンレーサーの若者らが設立した米スタートアップのNerosが、国防総省による小型ドローン関連では最大規模の契約を締結した。
同社はこれまでに数万機の無人航空機（UAV）をウクライナに出荷しており、このほど米国防総省と5億ドル規模の契約を結んだ。
今回の契約は、中国製ドローンに代わる国内生産体制の構築を目指すものだ。Nerosは軍事用途の小型無人航空機の製造に注力している。
