London-based Standard Chartered reported an underlying pre-tax profit of US$7.9 billion for 2025, up 16% from US$6.8 billion in 2024. The bank, which derives much of its revenue from Asia, met analysts' estimates and proposed higher dividends along with a share buyback program.
