Bajel Projects Limited has signed an agreement worth more than $40 million with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company to build sections of a 500 kV overhead transmission line.

The agreement covers Lot 1 and Lot 5 of the line and forms part of Egypt’s national grid reinforcement programme. The signing took place in Cairo with Indian Ambassador Suresh K. Reddy in attendance.
