Mora municipality has lifted its advisory against bathing at Våmåbadet following new tests. The warning was issued on 17 July due to elevated bacteria levels.
The municipality suspected bird droppings caused the high levels at the bathing site in Våmhus. A new sample now shows lower levels and the advisory has therefore been removed.
The samples still show remarks on the water however. Mora municipality will continue with regular testing.
Warnings for suspected algal bloom remain in place at Edstjärn in Gagnef and Matsbobadet in Hedemora, but no bathing advisory has been issued there.
