Mnet Plus has named the K-Pop group Cortis as the first participants in season 2 of its horror variety show Sumbakkokjil. The announcement came on July 20.
Cortis will take part in the survival format where idols play hide-and-seek against a mysterious seeker for 4,444 seconds.
Season 2 shifts to a story-driven approach based on urban legends and ghost stories. A released poster carries the caption "Don’t look into the water for too long."
The first episode premieres on Mnet Plus on July 31 at 6 p.m. KST and airs on Mnet the following day at 11 p.m. KST.
Season 1 featured groups including TREASURE, NCT WISH, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, TXT, ALLDAY PROJECT, TWS, and BOYNEXTDOOR.
