Designer Glenn Martens presented the Diesel Resort 2027 pre-collection, blending utility workwear with tailoring and millennial styles. The show highlighted experimental denim pieces and transparent layers.
Martens described the collection as a mix of Diesel codes, including utility workwear, tailoring, and millennial clothing. Key elements featured trompe l’oeil fabrications and radical garment combinations. Denim formed the foundation, appearing in microskirts with built-in tennis shorts, leather-mimicking jackets, and drapey tailoring made from viscose. Other looks included kitten heel loafers with silver uppers and an oversized librarian sweater vest in distorted indigo cable knit. Sportswear and workwear influences appeared in jersey dresses with athletic stripes, tennis shirt wrap dresses, and utility jackets in coated canvas. Tracksuits layered over shirting added a transparent, post-millennial take on classic styles. Martens also announced a new collaboration with Tinder to celebrate Pride, noting it promotes successful loving alongside successful living. The presentation used a backstage backdrop to emphasize Diesel's focus on lifestyle and transparency.
