Egypt and Eritrea move to deepen industrial cooperation

Egypt’s Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem held talks with Eritrean President’s Economic Adviser Hagos Gebrehiwet and Eritrea’s Minister of Trade and Industry Nasr El-Din Saleh to explore strengthening bilateral cooperation in industry and joint investment. Discussions also covered boosting trade exchange, addressing banking and transport challenges, and enhancing investment flows by leveraging both countries’ comparative advantages, with Eritrea seeking Egypt’s expertise in agro-industrial manufacturing and workforce development.
