Egypt planning minister discusses launch of OECD country programme second phase

Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom met with OECD Director for Global Relations Andreas Schaal to strengthen cooperation and launch the second phase of the Egypt-OECD country programme.

He stressed that these pillars align fully with Egypt Vision 2030. The minister noted that the second phase will continue implementing recommendations on evidence-based policymaking and linking international expertise with national priorities. He also emphasised Egypt’s commitment to using OECD frameworks to support African partners.
