Ethiopian Airlines will restart flights to Kuwait City on June 16, 2026, after suspending several Middle East routes earlier this year due to security concerns.
Ethiopian Airlines announced the resumption in an official statement on June 2, 2026. The airline said it suspended flights to Amman, Tel Aviv, Dammam, and Beirut on February 28 over regional security issues.
The carrier stated, “It is with great joy that Ethiopian Airlines announces the resumption of flight services to Kuwait.” It added that it will continue monitoring security developments to ensure safety.
The move follows nearly four months of scaled-back operations in the Middle East. The airline aims to balance passenger convenience with its safety standards.
