Police spokesperson Mats Eriksson states: "The damage we have documented so far is a broken window pane. We are trying to figure out if it exploded inside the stairwell or outside the door." He adds that the stairwell is smoke-filled but does not appear to be on fire: "It is smoke-filled in the stairwell but it does not seem to be burning."
A large police operation is underway at the scene, involving several patrols, a helicopter, police dogs, and the national bomb squad. The rescue service has also been alerted to the area.
