Williams team principal James Vowles has outlined plans to reset the team after a difficult British Grand Prix and prepare for the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
Vowles said the team is conducting an internal review of its latest upgrade package following the home race. The focus is on data-driven analysis to identify performance gaps and unknowns.
"We take stock of everything that we know that is data-driven and factual, but conversely create buckets of unknowns," Vowles explained. He added that understanding current issues is essential to shaping future performance.
Belgium presents specific challenges including the flat-out Eau Rouge section, a mix of high-speed straights and technical corners, and potential unpredictable weather. Vowles noted the possibility of the first wet grand prix of 2026.
"It's an opportunity for us to reset and come back swinging," he said.
