President José Antonio Kast announced he will meet with the family of the 12-year-old boy killed in a carjacking in San Bernardo. The step aims to push changes to the juvenile criminal responsibility law.
The president made the statements on June 29 on Radio Polar. He said he expects to hold the meeting after his tour to Paraguay and Uruguay. Kast mentioned previous cases such as Tamara in Huechuraba and Joaquín in Rancagua.
