Motorists are advised to avoid driving through flooded areas. The authority provided three alternative routes: - Ngong - Suswa - Nairobi - Naivasha - Nakuru - Mau Narok - Narok - Nairobi - Naivasha - Longonot - Suswa Drivers were urged to follow directions from police officers and traffic marshals deployed in the area. Continued rainfall has worsened conditions particularly between Naivasha ICD and Suswa Ranch. Travellers who have not started their journeys are encouraged to delay until floodwaters subside. > Motorists who have not yet commenced their journeys are advised to delay travel until floodwaters subside. Where travel is unavoidable, motorists may consider using the alternative routes. KeNHA reassured the public it is working around the clock to reopen the section and ensure road user safety.
