Marc Anthony and Henry Cárdenas hosted the fifth annual Maestro Cares Foundation Golf Tournament on May 1 in Aventura, Florida. The event at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort drew celebrities, athletes and philanthropists to support aid for disadvantaged children in Latin America and the U.S. Anthony highlighted the tournament's growth and lasting impact.
A lineup of stars including Luis Fonsi, Lenny Tavárez, comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, NBA Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning and Miami Dolphins icon Nat Moore attended the fundraiser. Pro golfers Camilo Villegas and Marcelo Rozo, former boxing champion Jorge Linares and Fontainebleau Development CEO Jeffrey Soffer also joined. The event supports the foundation's efforts for children and communities in need, according to organizers. Anthony said in a press release, “Seeing how this tournament has grown over these five years is incredible. Together with Henry and each of you, we have achieved something that goes beyond a trophy; we are creating a legacy of hope. Thank you all for joining us once again to be the engine of change that so many children need.” The tournament marks five years of growth, building on co-founders Anthony and Cárdenas's commitment to philanthropy.
