Ministry of interior opens 80 job vacancies

The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has advertised 80 vacancies across internal security and correctional services departments.

The Ministry of Interior and National Administration announced the openings in a statement on May 21. The positions target leadership roles in peacebuilding, government reception services and probation management under civil service grades 4 to 7.

Specific roles include one secretary and two directors in the Peacebuilding and Conflict Management Directorate. Additional posts cover deputy directors and assistant directors in government reception services and the probation department.

Applications must be submitted through the Public Service Commission platform by May 26. Only serving officers are eligible. The ministry said the drive aims to address long-standing staffing shortages.

Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo noted plans for further recruitment with a proposed Ksh2 billion budget allocation.
