Missouri man sentenced to life for killing mother

Trevor Huber received a life sentence without parole after a Missouri court convicted him of first-degree murder in the 2018 death of his mother.

The sentencing followed a bench trial in Dunklin County, where authorities established that Huber, then 43, killed 63-year-old Charlotte Wilson at a home in Cardwell on December 21, 2018. He struck her five to seven times with a blunt object and then decapitated her with a knife, according to court records.
