Moose spotted on tiny skerry off Klädesholmen

Four people boating outside Klädesholmen on Friday evening got an unexpected sight when they spotted a moose on a tiny skerry.

Jens Debatin and his three friends were out at sea on Friday afternoon outside Eggeskär on Klädesholmen in Bohuslän. They first saw the moose from a distance and thought it was an art installation.

As they got closer the moose turned its head. "It turned its head and we just: what? That cannot be right", said Debatin. They then realized it was a living moose.

It is easily two kilometers to the mainland. Debatin believes the moose must have jumped up, swam and jumped up again to reach the skerry.
