Nervosa releases single Ghost Notes from upcoming album

Brazilian thrash metal band Nervosa has unveiled their new single 'Ghost Notes' from the forthcoming album Slave Machine. The track features heavy riffs and furious vocals by Prika Amaral, with a music video also released. The album is set for release on April 3 via Napalm Records.

Nervosa, the Brazilian modern thrash metal band, released their new single 'Ghost Notes' on March 3, 2026. The song is taken from their sixth studio album, Slave Machine, scheduled for April 3, 2026, through Napalm Records. Produced by Martin Furia of German thrash metal band Destruction, the album bridges old-school power with modern elements.

'Ghost Notes' showcases heavy, recognizable riffs, impelling drums, and the furious vocals of founding guitarist Prika Amaral, who took on singing duties with the band's previous release, Jailbreak, in 2023. The track culminates in a powerful guitar solo. Nervosa commented on the single: “Strong and heavy riffs with a lot of groove showing deep feelings in a very poetic way, this song is definitely special in many ways.”

Slave Machine features 12 tracks, including opener 'Impending Doom', the title track 'Slave Machine', 'Ghost Notes', 'Beast Of Burden', 'You Are Not A Hero', 'Hate', 'The New Empire', '30 Seconds', 'Crawl For Your Pride', 'Learn Or Repeat', 'The Call', and 'Speak In Fire'. The band described the album as “the most brutal and melodic album of Nervosa, and we are proud to take this step further, keeping our roots.” Nervosa has performed at major festivals like Wacken and Hellfest, solidifying their position in the genre.

A music video for 'Ghost Notes' was also released on March 3, 2026. Pre-orders for Slave Machine are available in various formats, including limited-edition vinyls, CD digipak, cassette, and digital.
