Six tons of rainbow trout escaped from fish farm in Siljan

Six tons of rainbow trout have escaped from a fish farm in Björka outside Mora and entered Siljan.

The incident occurred at the end of last week at Nordic Trout's facility. Both the County Administrative Board of Dalarna and the company have confirmed the information.

The escape has raised concerns among authorities and businesses in the area. In total, six tons of fish entered the lake.
