Texas woman charged in boyfriend's alleged murder and dismemberment

A 31-year-old Texas woman has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of her 34-year-old boyfriend, whose body was allegedly dismembered and hidden in multiple locations.

Audrey Troncoso faces one count of murder in the death of Roland Matthew Sheppard. San Angelo police say she shot him in the face, stabbed him multiple times, and dismembered the body.

An anonymous tip led to her arrest on June 24. Authorities recovered a dismembered torso wrapped in Christmas paper from a dumpster and found additional remains mixed with concrete at a residence on Parker Street.

Troncoso allegedly confessed during a custodial interview to the shooting, stabbing, and disposal methods. Her father, Mario Valdes Troncoso Jr., was also arrested on a tampering charge.

She is held on a $2 million bond at the Tom Green County Detention Center.
