A 26-year-old man in San Antonio has been arrested after allegedly shooting his uncle and concealing the body in a backyard recycling bin for several days. Police say the suspect called 911 himself, leading to the discovery of the victim.
Aquiminee La Roy Crawford faces two counts of murder in the death of his 52-year-old uncle, Derrick Crawford. Authorities say the shooting took place on or around May 9 at a home on Sterling Street in the Colosseum Willow Park neighborhood of east San Antonio. Crawford told officers he retrieved a handgun from his bedroom and fired five shots at his uncle after becoming upset over a comment and money the victim had borrowed from him.
