The Cure revives rare tracks at North Festival 2026

The Cure performed 'Treasure' and 'In Your House' for the first time in over a decade during their set at North Festival in Maia, Portugal.

The band took the stage on Sunday night, June 7, as the second stop on their summer tour. The songs came from their 1996 album 'Wild Mood Swings' and 1980 album 'Seventeen Seconds' respectively. They dedicated the first encore to 'Seventeen Seconds', playing four tracks from the album in a row. Other songs added to the setlist included 'Want' and 'M'. The performance followed their headline appearance at Primavera Sound in Barcelona two nights earlier. Robert Smith also joined Olivia Rodrigo onstage there for a surprise duet. The Cure's next show is scheduled for Friday, June 12, at Nova Rock in Austria.
