Police arrested three men suspected of stealing 108 Lululemon bags from the cargo area at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The bags went missing from a shipment bound for Shanghai, China, causing losses of Rp213 million.
The three suspects, identified by initials R alias K, A and F, were detained in Karawaci, Tangerang, in the early hours of 29 April 2026. R worked in the export operations team at Soetta cargo and is described as the syndicate leader.
Police revealed the men had been stealing bags since 2024. They admitted to three large-scale thefts, while smaller thefts occurred much more frequently without detection.
The case began with a report from PT Pungkook Indonesia One based in Grobogan, Central Java. The company shipped 4,749 Lululemon bags via Garuda Indonesia on 10 April 2026. The bags arrived at Soetta three days later, but 108 units were reported missing on 20 April.
