VA fees surge in Dalarna with large differences

Water and sewage costs vary sharply between Dalarna municipalities. Älvdalen has the highest fees while Avesta has the lowest.

According to Hyresgästföreningen the gap exceeds 7 100 kronor per year between the most and least expensive municipalities. In Älvdalen VA costs for an apartment in Nils Holgersson-huset reach about 11 800 kronor annually.
