Wisconsin man wanted in McDonald's shooting over Frappes

An 18-year-old Wisconsin man faces multiple felony charges after a shooting at a Milwaukee McDonald's that stemmed from a dispute over two caramel Frappes. The June 17 incident left four people injured.

Jahzir Collins stands accused of four felony counts of recklessly endangering safety as a party to a crime, one count of reckless use of a firearm as a party to a crime, and two counts of bail jumping.

Surveillance footage shows Collins entering the Capitol Drive location with two other men and two women. After an employee discarded the ordered drinks and refused service, Collins allegedly told the worker to come outside. In the parking lot, he reportedly shouted for another man to shoot, leading to several rounds fired at the door.

The gunfire shattered the entrance and scattered customers inside. Police recovered nine bullet casings at the scene. The manager later told investigators that the group had threatened staff with a gun equipped with a switch and warned they would "Swiss cheese" the restaurant.

Collins and the other men fled north on Holton Avenue while the women ran south. An anonymous tip on June 22 helped investigators identify him. The Milwaukee Police Department has released images of two wanted individuals from the incident.
