The K-Pop idol opened up about ditching stagnation for a new creative spark. Her debut came in 2025 on The White Lotus.
BLACKPINK's Lisa revealed she chased acting to shake off that decade-plus rut. "Sometimes when you’re doing the things that [you’ve done] for more than 10 years, you feel like you should find new things to find inspiration," she told Vanity Fair.
Her mom pushed the kid-actor route early on, though Lisa wasn't feeling it then. Now the 29-year-old says she's still just herself, only with extra swagger: "I’m not trying to pretend that I’m someone else. It’s just me, plus a little more confidence."
The star stays loyal to the group too. "Of course we’re continuing, for sure," she added, crediting solo lessons for sharper "yes" or "no" decisions.
