Bremont launches Felix the Cat edition of Altitude MB Meteor watch

Bremont has introduced a new playful yet aviation-inspired watch in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences. The Altitude MB Meteor “Felix the Cat” Edition draws on the cartoon character's historical role as a symbol among pilots. Limited to 500 pieces, it features a black DLC-coated titanium case and distinctive dial elements.

Bremont's aviation-focused Altitude collection has expanded with the Altitude MB Meteor Felix the Cat Edition, announced on March 6, 2026. This model partners with Universal Products & Experiences to incorporate the iconic cartoon character Felix the Cat, who has symbolized courage, humor, and good luck in aviation since the early days of U.S. naval aviation. Felix appears on squadron insignia, including that of the VFA-31 Tomcatters, whose call sign is Felix and emblem shows the cat carrying a bomb.

The watch builds on the Altitude MB Meteor, inspired by Martin-Baker ejection seats. It uses Bremont's Trip-Tick case construction, with a Grade 2 titanium case finished in black DLC for a tactical appearance. Measuring 42mm in diameter, 12.23mm thick, and 49.3mm lug-to-lug, the case includes a flexible rubber shock mount and soft-iron anti-magnetic ring for protection. A bi-directional Roto-Click inner bezel is adjusted via the crown at 4 o’clock, and water resistance reaches 100m.

The black dial follows an instrument-style layout, featuring Felix the Cat running away with the numeral six—a nod to the aviation phrase “Watch Your Six.” Large applied Arabic numerals and indexes use white Super-LumiNova for a blue glow in low light. Yellow accents appear on the minute track and the seconds hand's ejection-handle counterweight, referencing Martin-Baker safety features.

Powered by the calibre BE-14-AH, based on a La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement, it runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 68-hour power reserve. The movement drives central hours, minutes, and seconds, plus a date at 3 o’clock, visible through a sapphire caseback engraved with Felix artwork.

Available on a DLC-coated titanium bracelet or black leather strap with quick-release, the edition is limited to 500 pieces. Prices are EUR 7,150 for the bracelet version and EUR 6,700 for the strap. More details are available at bremont.com.
